The room was super cozy, and I loved the delicious breakfast spread, especially the homemade pastries! The ownership and staff (and location) at hotel maximilian was the most warm and hospitable of our entire 1 week stay in germany and austria - we should have stayed there at least 2 nights.

Location very close to the Hotel's restaurant offered better service. Excellent pool, decent size and airy rooms with a balcony strongly recommended. A wide array of extensive breakfast items to choose from.

The owner (I assume the person who greeted us when we registered was the owner) was helpful, pleasant, and most accommodating. Even with a wedding party at the Hotel, she and the staff took care of our needs with efficiency and pleasantness. The breakfast was more than sufficient and good variety to choose from. Our room was very clean and view from window was great. Location was excellent with wonderful view of mountain area.
No comments because Hotel Maximilian exceeded expectations.

The kids enjoyed the playground and we had a blast exploring the nearby castles. Gabi, the host. Plus, we were excited to find a ski school nearby for future trips!
In my wife's opinion, an earlier breakfast time would be great.

The hotel is a little out of the way, but thats what we wanted. Great for folks with cars. It is easy to reach all the Bavarian sites, with the opportunity to be just outside the tourist traps. Perfect or us!

The staff were very helpful and spoke good English. The hotel restaurant offered a good and varied menu at an affordable price. Breakfast was good and offered a good selection. The hotel was homely and very suitable for families with young/older children.
No free wifi in the bedrooms.
